first of all, there were plenty of gathering with frens and i watched my first R21 show! lust, caution. haha. it was not bad actually, though i thought most of the sex scenes were kinda meaningless. and finally tennis again! after stopping so long due to the exams..
there was a tchs 2a outing on 16th,(which i dun think we had since we separated as a class 7 yrs ago..lol) we played Counter-Strike (really retro)..haha it was really fun to play the game with frens after so long. Had to leave at dinner time as my cousin n his fren came to Singapore to stayover and wait for their flight the next day. Brought them arnd Singapore after dinner, to places like orchard to see the xmas lights, take the mrt, walked the whole stretch from orchard mrt to PS, and went to bugis to eat supper @ tongshui, their durian puree thick toast was simply heavenly..lol, and some places which i shldn't mention on this blog. i'm just nt rly cut out to be a tour guide...haha
went with Sora to sentosa on 18th, and we played beach volleyball, it was really fun! lol. the only bad thing for me was that i knocked into james during the frisbee game and fell on my tailbone, which stil kinda hurts now after so long. -_-'', but on the overall it was a fun n great day! the next day was the excursion to Power Seraya on Jurong Island, alot of the sora pple went too, so it became like a sora outing again lol. learnt abt how power is generated, how they conserve energy by reusing the heat,blahblahblah, and saw the RO plant which i alr saw at the Newater plant, so acty it was not exactly a very exciting trip, but at least i got to see how the life was on Jurong Island..next time must go all the way there to work...cannot imagine. lol.
the next few days were gathering wif frens again, plus watching of warlords with sora pple, pretty action packed where jet li was like superman lol, as in like one of him can kill like dunno how many enemies.haha.
went to joshua's place on xmas eve for a xmas steamboat dinner! just like last yr, there was me hw alex shaun joshua..except this yr was more significant, cos of some unhappy issues that happened this yr, i'm just glad we can sit together n have a gd time with each other again..xmas is indeed the season for giving and forgiving.. shaun wanted to make sukiyaki steamboat, but cos we couldn't find the sauce, we settled for some other japanese sauce for the soup, and it was like a mushroom feast n stuff, and it was delicious, comparable to joshua's secret recipe of beans and tea leaves last yr lol..after dinner we drank and played some card games which involved lotsa drinking -_-'', dunno why they are just all alcoholics lol. alex brought johnny walker black label, while joshua had red wine and jack daniels at his place, so there was alot of drinking involved till i accidentally broke one of joshua's cups..oops. after tt was the gift exchange where joshua bought sth kinky for shaun lol. the rest of us just bought normal stuff..haha. wanted to go home earlier cos i had sth on the next day, but the rest goaded/coerced/persuaded me to stay on till the first LRT came..which we thought was arnd 6, when its arnd 4+!! so we ended up talking crap and stuff till 6am..den went home to slp.
had a wonderful and fun xmas day! =) although was a lil tired cos had to wake up at arnd 12noon, but it was definitely worth it..haha.
went shopping wif tony n andy on fri, and another fren on sat, n bought some new clothes! haha so hopefully i wont need to wear the same clothes to sch for sem 2!! haha..but i think i stil nid to buy some more clothes..so jio me out for shopping pls! haha
went to james' party on 30th @ arnd 7, den left after half an hour to watch Maria Sharapova play against Anna Chakvetadze at the indoor stadium!!! haha it was really gd. incase u dunno, they're currently ranked world no.5 and no.6 female tennis players. ok lemme complain first..cos i reached there pretty late, the nearest parking lot was really far away, so after i parked n walked halfway to the entrance, i realised i forgot to bring my hp, so i went back once to get it. THEN, after almost reaching the entrance, i saw those pple issuing summons to the cars!!OMG lah i realised i forgot to put the coupons, so had to rush all the way back again, damn far lah. so in the end was really late n the rest were all waiting for me..lucky the match haven't started..haha.. the first set was a letdown, cos maria simply walked over anna with a 6-0 score, but the second set was much better, with Anna making a serious attempt to win, she was leading at first, but Maria caught up and then won the tie breaker and ended the game in a 7-6 set, so there wasn't a 3rd set unfortunately.. after that drove my frens home den went back to the party @ arnd 11+, and everyone left/was leaving already!! omg lah, so dint catch most of the pple, only saw some pple..in the end me, tony, andy ng, james, audrey and shiqi stayed over to play, otherwise james would have booked 2 chalets for nothing..we played drinking mahjong first, den pushup mahjong in the later parts after the 2 gals concussed.. a party becoming like a training camp?? omg lah. lucky nvr lose by that much lol. den we starting gossiping n chatting abt the usual stuff lah, until arnd 7am when james checked out and we went for breakfast at westmall's mac. had to drive everybody home, lucky i was stil awake enuff and i dint drink that much the day b4, so it was a safe trip home for everybody..haha.
once i reached home at arnd 10, my mom sms-ed me n asked me to bring e car to her at arnd 4. -_-'' means i have to wake up arnd 3?? wah lao, in the end i slpt arnd 11, den woke up at 3, so tired. drove to the office, den gt trapped there until 7plus -_-'' sian diao. originally i dint have any countdown plans, budden suddenly my luck changed n i had plans! haha, so went to esplanade to watch the fireworks, spent 1hr+ making our way arnd the crowds lah!! super super crowded this yr..compared to last yr.. it was really the best way i could have spent my last hrs of 2007 and first hrs of 2008 =) =).. stil gt pple help me tidy up my room too! haha.. =P
